Alaska Black Cod is a family owned small business in Anchorage, Alaska. We specialize in hot smoke (kippered) wild Alaska sablefish and Copper River salmon. We use only the finest all natural and organic ingredients in all of our products. Our Operations Manager has been smoking salmon and black cod for over 30 years, and has worked in seafood processing plants throughout the State of Alaska.
We prepare and brine our smoked fish to the highest standards in the industry. Our processing plant/smokehouse is inspected by the FDA and the ADEC (Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation) twice yearly. We are a small batch smokehouse with a capacity to smoke 500 lbs. a day with only several employees.
